In November 2021 I submitted 5 photos to the Wildlife Category of the prestigious Australian Photography Awards. I was absolutely over-the-moon to be advised that two of my photos, namely Midnight Manta and Salty Skull, had made the shortlist.

Given the calibre of photos I was shortlisted alongside I was more than happy with the outcome. But a few weeks later, when the winners were announced, I was ecstatic to have gone one better and been named as one of 20 finalists!
To make that cut among so many incredible photographers means a lot and I'm so thankful for the support of my friends, family, local community and, of course, those that follow me and show so much love on social media.
