Did you know that ALL clownfish are born male? Once they become female, they cannot become male again!

They survive in a symbiotic relationship with anemone - the latter protects the clownfish from predators and provides leftovers. In return, the clownfish use their bright colours to lure prey into the poisonous grasp of the anemone! 

Those bright colours make for an awesome photo, here's a few clownfish from a trip to Indonesia in late 2023.
